About

I’m Carolina Reviglio, also known as the Heritage Doyenne, passionately steering our rich past towards a vibrant future. My childhood unfolded in the Piedmont countryside, deeply immersed in culture and art, surrounded by a lively group of cousins and friends. The family home Cimena, curated by my namesake grandmother, alongside the profound influence of my Venetian grandmother, helped shape my appreciation for the intricate tapestry of heritage and art. I’m proud of my Italian heritage and our contribution to the world.

My educational path stretched from Italy to the United States, anchoring my Italian roots while expanding my outlook with international experiences. Since 1987, I’ve honed my expertise in renovating and designing interiors for historic buildings, a journey marked by both setbacks and victories. Today, I am committed to giving back, helping traditional artisans find purposeful work and fostering pride in their craftsmanship.

As the leader of several initiatives, I invite Heritage Ambassadors to join me in safeguarding and rejuvenating our collective cultural heritage. I firmly believe that understanding and valuing our respective heritage is crucial to crafting a future that is infused with the legacy of our past. “Life is ours to design,” I often say, and under my guidance, we are interlacing our rich history into the fabric of tomorrow. To that end I founded ArtAcadia.org and manage Sublime Italian Artisans. In addition we supply artisanal services to RapidSky.
